018.01 A small but neat church with a burial ground
attached. The architectural appearance is Gothic. The north and south side walls are supported by buttresses recently added to prevent them from falling. The windows were also placed in it a few years back.
It is capable of containing about two hundred persons.
George Ramsay the celebrated Border Robber is buried in the graveyard, The last of the Ramsays of Foulden (the above George Ramsay) died 4th January 1592 and the tombstone with that date marked on it. also a most quaint & [?nious] epitaph stands in the centre of the grave yard_

018.01 A plain and commodious dwelling house two storys high in good repair with suitable offices, garden and a small portion of glebe land attached. It is the legal residence of the Parish Minister.
