016.07 An artificial lake immediat [immediately] Noth of Dunse Castle. It is long and narrow, And extends a short distance past Dun [Dunse] Cottage. There are upon it, two Islands one of which is a floating one, And is at the North end, and a Small Decoy to which a great Number of wild fowl resort -- it abounds with Tench, Perch, and Eels, but there are not many Trout in it.
