018 A small stream rising about a quarter of a mile north of Cumberland Bower and flowing in a South westerly direction till it falls into Wheatland Burn at Mordington Bridge During a part of its course it forms the boundary between the PH. [Parish] of Mordington & the Liberties of Berwick. The fish belonging or frequenting this Burn were at one time constantly watched by Bailies, hence the name.
