The parish of Ordiquhill is in the Presbytery of Fordyce and Synod of Aberdeen. It is bounded on the South-west by the parish of Grange, on the South and South-east by the parish of Marnoch, on the north-east by the parish of Boyndie, and on the north-west by the parish of Fordyce. and contains about 4758 statute acres. There are no detached portions of the parish of Ordiquhill, nor are there any detached portions of any other parish situated within it. The appearance of the parish is bleak, it is in general flat, particularly towards the northern part, and possesses few features of any interest. The
patron is the Earl of Seafield. |
