025.05 A square plot of wooded ground although it is called The King's Grave and is Known by no other name now it being so long in use, it is actually a tumuli or trench into which numbers of the dead were thrown who were slain in the battle of Mortlach and is mentioned as being such in the Old Statistical Account.
