A detached part of the parish of King Edward, it is situatd in Banffshire but belongs to Aberdeenshire. It is bounded on the west by the parish of Banff, on the south, and part of the west by the parish of Alvah, and on the north and part of the west by the parish of Gamrie. The county of Aberdeen exercises all Political and ecclesiastical control over it. This detached portion contains about 1082 Statute Acres, is all either wooded or arable,Aand is the property of The Earl of Fife. |
