026.14 A Small chapel which existed within the grave yard of Wallackirk, and founded, it is said by a Saxon Saint named *Wallich. *No remains of it now exists except a small mound overgrown with grass about 1 foot above the level of the ground, Said to be a part of the wall. This chapel ceased to exist about 2 centuries ago solely by the action of time.
On the foundation and built by the stones of the chapel is a tomb, the burial place of the Gordons of Wardhouse, former proprietors of Beldorney Castle. The site off Chapel and grave yard are on the estate of the Earl of Fife.
