Some of the inhabitants of Portsoy, still living, recollect seeing a portion of the gable end and side walls standing, about 60 years ago - There is not a vestige of it now remaining , to point out the exact place where it stood. The date of its erection is, not known - & there is little or no reliable tradition of its history, in the district. |
