006 This burn flows in a N.E. direction from Crosbie Hills to he Firth of Clyde at Fence Bay, in its course there are four waterfalls one of which is situated at the head of the Glen and falls 40 feet perpendicular & called Linnford the other further up the the stream is about 20 feet the two below Linford in the Glen minature cascade in comparison to the two named above

stream issues from Whiteside Hill which is the
name given to the Southern Side or base of Kaim Hill
the small stream alluded to joins the
Glen Burn which is the principal stream

This burn is called by the occupier of
Fencefoot and other parties in the
locality Fencefoot Burn between the
Turnpike Road and the Sea but it may
be written as supplied being the name given
to the general course of the stream
