028 | A level piece of rough pasture ground which from the 31st of March till the 30th of September, Annually, is kept flooded for the purpose - with Tarbolton Loch - of Supplying Tarbolton and Park Mills with water during that time. From 30th September to the 31st of March it is quite dry. A small stream called Townend Burn flows into it & another small stream called Water of Fail flows from it. These streams are Connected by a deep drain through the Loch, the extent of which is shown on trace by a light yellow Shade. |
