A small portion of it is still roofed and used as the family vault of the Cassillis family. enclosed by a stone wall and the space within planted. It was endowed out of the provost and priest's lands in the Parish of Kirkmichael, which fell into the hands of the Earl of Cassillis upon the dissolution of the College at the Reformation - Statistical Account 1842. |
