Map at the entrance to Kelburn Glen but unknown to any person in
the neighbourhood of Largs - on the same Map "Tancrook Castle (in ruins)" is written - no
such Castle ever had existence in this Parish - according to Messrs Boyd and other
respectable authorities in Largs L Bruce ca [civilian assistant]
