018 A Small unimportant Stream which takes its rise near the farm of South Dean, and empties itself into the Kilmarnock Water, About two Chains South of the West extremity of Douglas Street, the name Gallion Burn is applied to it only from Titchfield to its confluence with the Kilmarnock Water. the portion from Titchfield St. to whence it takes its rise is nameless. Origin of name not known. -
