018 A Small, Oval, Grassy Knoll, partly Artificial, about 30 feet above the level of the Road, Situated at the north end of Robertson Place, it is Surrounded at the Summit by a Wooden Paling, erected on the centre of a gravel Walk, and pleasantly Shaded with trees; So Called it is Said from the Circumstance of a very eccentric Old gentleman named Robertson, who had intended this place as his Burying Ground, and who, on his death bed, requested to be interred there, which request, as a matter of Course, was not complied with. -
