No Vestige of this cairn remains A upright stone six feet in height , on the W. [West] side of the farm from which it receives its name. [but? ] stones are numerous. they [form ?] the large slabs sometimes four at the base of cairns. and have been fixed in a vertical position indicate the site, when the stones and rubble of which the cairn are composed have been removed for building or other purposes.
