[North West by West] of Knockdolean Hill A circular bank of earth about 100 links in circumference and about 4 feet above the general surface. It is evidently of great antiquity & is said by the people of the neighbourhood to have been a place of strength There are no stones near it, nor is there a trace of the remains of any other building that might have been connected with it. |
