010 Formerly called Scobach, and built in the year 1836, by John Adam Esq. it was enlarged to nearly as big again in the year 1868 by J.D. Milne Esq., the grounds attached to the dwelling have also been improved upon, by being tastefully, and ornamentily laid out, it is situated about three miles South of the Town of Turriff and close upon the River Deveron, and is the Property of J.D. Milne Esq. It is erected on a commanding situation, although the building is modern, its style is ancient. It is built in the Elizabethan style.
