052 | About 3 years ago when Mr McGregor, Tenant of Newtown, was ploughing his land, the plough struck against an Urn; but unfortunately it was broken to pieces by the force of the plough; however, burnt bones were found and a necklace, rudely ornamented, made of clay, or some sort of light stone, and which resembles a Romanists' rosary was also found. The Urn was ornamented & was placed mouth downwards. The necklace & a piece of the Urn is in the possession of Mr McGregor, Newtown. |
