052 When the Tenant of Coldwells was harrowing a field in front of his house about 10 years ago; the harrow turned up numbers of the common flint arrow heads. It is said that the battle of Alford, fought on 2nd July 1645, extended to about this place, and that the Arrow heads found, belonged to the different Armies engaged therein.
