These Parishes are legally united, but there are not any documents or deeds in existance to prove it, The members of the Parochial Board are chosen from the inhabitants of both Parishes, and all the inhabitants of both Parishes contributed to the building and repairing of the Manse at Tarland, and I am informed, have to do the same, when the Church may require repairs, But the Parish Church of Migvie is kept up Solely by the inhabitants of that portion of the Parish for their own convenience, and is a sort of Chapel of Ease to the Church at Tarland, There is one Registrar for the whole, The parish of Tarland and Migvie is in the Presbytery of Kincardine O'Neil, and Synod of Aberdeen. It is in four separate parts. The main body of (the parish, though not the biggest) contains the parish Church and Village of Tarland. It contains about 4719 Statutory acres and is bounded on the North east by the parish of Leochel and Cushnie, on the north west and North west by the parish of Logie Coldstone
