and on the South east and South west by the parish of Coull. Tarland and Migvie parish Detached No. 1, is bounded on the north by Towie parish; and on the east, South, and West by Logie Coldstone parish. Tarland and Migvie parish Detached No. 2 is bounded on the north and north west by the River Don; on the west and partly on the south by the parish of Strathdon; partly on the south by the parish of Logie Coldstone; and on the east by the parish of Towie. Tarland and Migvie parish Detached No. 3 is bounded on the north, east, and south, by Strathdon parish; and on the west by the County of Banff, the river Don forms its South east boundary. These three detached portions are surveyed and drawn by the Aberdeen Division. The parish of Tarland and Migvie Proper, and the the detached portion No. 3 formed the ancient parish of Tarland; and the detached portions Nos. 1 and 2 formed the ancient parish of Migvie.
