013 An old building (in good repair) situated in the above churchyard. Said by the authorities quoted to have been the Aisle of the former church, underneath is a vault, formerly the place of interment of the Frasers of Strichen.
"In the churchyard stands a repaired old building, which is conjectured to be the Aisle of the former church, built after Strichen, or Strath Ugie, was erected into a parish, or about the year 1620, under Bishop Patrick Forbes, by Fraser of Strichen"
