[East North East by East] of where the [correction initialled] Water of Carvie Enters the River Don, consisting of an enclosure leading S.E. [South East[ and northward from the Summit of the Hill, from which, Westwardly, and Northward, to the Corgarff and Aberdeen old road, The said word is known after the name of the Hill The word Coulac [correction initialled] is merely the Gaelic of Sods or Turf, which the Same hill seems to have well supplied previous to the plantation.
