044 The Revd [Reverend] John Wilson say's that he improved the land south of the Gaudie and on the farm of Kirkhill, and while doing so came upon a stone Cist, which contained small pieces of bones and a quantity of black earth.

044 Some three or four years ago while Mr Duffus of Bogside was removing some stones from Tillymuick, he came upon three stones standing on their edge, and forming a triangle the interior of which was filled with pieces of flint, some of which were half finished, others complete, and some nothing more then rough pieces of flint. The arrowheads which were finished were very neatly formed.
