066 A large Stone, measuring about 7 ft [feet] in height and 4 ft [feet] broad, said to be the remains of a Druidical Circle. Mr Wildgoose says that the field the Stone is in, was a number of years ago covered with rough pasture and Whins, and when it was being cleared for the purpose of cultivation, it was found that beside this Stone there were 6 or 7 more nearby the same size lying beside it and that they formed a circle.
