074 A large Cairn of loose stones of different sizes; about 3, chains in length, & from 60 to 90 links in width; it varies from 4 to 6 feet in height, and slopes upwards from the Sides, towards the middle; it appear's to be artificial, though there is no regularity observed in its construction; the stones being heaped promiscuously together; there has been a great lot, of the stones removed for the purpose of building fence's; and in doing so, it is reported that here there was a stone coffin found, containing black mould or ashes; the stones in the bottom of the Cairn have a Calcined appearance.
