037 | a well known old name, at present Consisting of a Large Saw Mill worked by the Burn of Kelly Connected wiith the Mill is a dwelling house and garden and some wooden houses It is said to have been formerly a large Farm extending down on the South side of the River Ythan to the Conflux of the Boundary Stream with River Ythan. The small farms or Crofts on the Same ground still bear the name except Tanglanford Farm - about 1/2 way between the Mill and the pub: [public] road is said to be the Site of the Old Mill of Kelly which was a Corn Mill and worked by the Same Burn. Situated at the South Side of a pub. [public] Road and a little S. [South] of where the Burn of Kelly joins the River Ythan. |
