"The site of the old chapel of Kininmonth, on the south border of the parish of Lonmay, at about a couple of miles from Logie, may still be pointed out. In a "Description of the parish of Lonmay A.D. MDCC.XXII. [Anno Domini 1722]," among Macfarlane's Geographical M.S. [Manuscript] collections, this chapel is mentioned: "Half a mile to the east of Kininmonth ther is the remains of and old chappell and a burial place, though now in desutude" "Pratt's Buchan"
