065 A small Camp on the Hill of Boghead, and a short distance south of Ferneybrae, it consists of a single rampart, without ditch, and is circular in form, It is traditionally associated with the battle which is supposed to have been fought between the Scots and Danes, but of which no record appears to exist.

065 This name is applied to a newly enclosed and cultivated piece of land, which, prior to its being reclaimed, was covered with Tumuli, and contained one of the largest of these sepulchral monuments known by the name of Cairn O'Neil. Numbers of flint arrow heads were found in trenching and draining this field.
