065 ; 074 The parish of Kinellar is in the Presbytery of Aberdeen and Synod of Aberdeen; it contains about 4000 Statute acres, on an undulating surface, no part of which rises very high or sinks very considerably. The greater part of the parish is much exposed to winds and storms, not having any shelter from woods or neighbouring hills, except a little from Tyrebeggar on the east.
The parish of Kinellar is bounded on the east, by the parishes of Dyce, and Newhills; on the south, by Skene parish; on the west, by Kintore parish; and on the north, by Fintray parish. There are no detached portions of Kinellar parish, nor are there any detached portions of another parish situated within it. A small portion of this parish, on the west, belongs to the Municipal Borough of Kintore
