053 A large and commodious farmsteading with offices, garden, and a small portion of ornamental ground attached. The lands comprising the farm are the property of R.C. Grant's Trustees for the benefit of the Roman Catholic Church of Scotland, but the dwelling house and steading are on the property of the Right Hon. [Honourable] Lord Forbes.
SILVER COINS FOUND HERE [Airlie] Coins found here Mr James Benton, Airlie 053 Some time since Mr Benton farmer. Airlie found 10 or 12 silver coins in this field, but they were so much defaced that their dates could not be ascertained.

It was originally called Upper Mill as another mill stood farther down the stream, but since it was removed it has been known as Mill of Keig. Property of the Right Hon. [Honourable] Lord Forbes.
