044 A very fine old church. the date of which is not known. but there is a stone marked 1613. which is built into the belfry. It is seated for 400. the resident Minister is the Revd. [Reverend] A Storrie. Some years ago, while the workmen were pulling down a house near this church, they came upon a rather queer looking stone with a lot of carving on it. it is now built into the vestry wall. it is about 5 feet long and 10 inc. [inches] deep.
