There are 4 Schools, 1 Parish, 2 Free Church Schools and one established under the auspices of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. There is only one Mansion house in the parish, Viz. Drumrossie House, the lands in the parish are devided between Fetternear, Wardhouse, Leith-hall; Warthill and Inchmarlo, none of the proprietors are resident in the parish. The only stream of note is the Shevock, which runs past the Hill of Dunnideer in the south end of the parish. There are three villages in this parish, viz. the Village of Insch (which is a burgh of barony), the village of Largie and Upper Boddam. Note - There is no portion of this parish detached, nor portion, or portions of any other parish enclosed within the boundary of this parish. |
