035 This stream is formed by the confluence of the Clariston and Stodfold burns a short distance west of the farm of Clinkstone. It flowed in an easterly direction for two or three miles and forms the northern boundary of the Parish of Insch. it is generally known by the name of the glen water until it reaches the South side of the Hill of Tillymorgan in the parish of Culsamond where it takes the name of Ury. It receives the waters of the Shevock and the Gaudie and itself flows into the River Don at Inverurie after a course of about 17 miles.
