092 This is a large plain stone building 2 storys, built exactly on the spot where Dee Castle stood. a small portion of the castle still remains. which forms the N. [North] West angle of the chapel. and the rest of it has been built with the stones of the Castle, The upper story is occupied by a caretaker, and the ground floor is fitted as a place of worship according to the Roman Catholic form. Th[e] ch. [church] directory says it was built in 1797, but not dedicated. It is called a station in which the clergyman from Ballogie attends the first Sabbath in each month.
