026 | The site of a Roman Catholic Chapel, situated a few chains to the north of Brawlandknows, the date of its erection cannot be obtained, but the walls which was about two feet high, was standing up to the year 1847 when they were removed by Mr Mennie of Brawlandknows for building purposes, who it was dedicated to, or whether it had any dedicatory name, is not known, not a vestige now remains.
