020 a large farm consisting of two dwelling houses a garden and a number of good farm offices. There are also some small Crofts, about, bearing the name in question. Situated at the county road and about ¼ of a mile North of the Church of Millbrex, proprietor The Earl of Aberdeen.

020 It is supposed to have been very large, nearly abt. [about] 40. yars [yards] in diameter and abt [about] 15. feet high and was carried away for the use of the county road some 15. years ago when the road was in progress of making - or being made. It is said that many cart loads of the Stones have been removed for building houses and stone Dykes. Situated on the farm of Millbrex and in a field abt [about) 2. chains W. [West] of a fence at junction of Roads, About 35. Cains N.E. of Millbrex and abt. [about] 15. C. [Chains] W. [West] of the Co. [County] Road Mr Beaton found no relics in the Cairns nor under surface when digging the land for cultivation but he says that he had dug no more than a foot under surface. I could not learn the tradition connected with this Cairn
