[East] of Fetterletter Garden and at the west edge of the Burn of Fetterletter and is Supposed to have been the site of a burial ground and Chapel, Dean Wilson's Father, many years ago, ploughed a portion of the ground, The Dean however does not recollect of hearing of any relics being found under the ground. No person living knows anything about a Chapel having existed here.

[Reverend] Mr Christie who preceded Dean Wilson Some 30 years ago Mention is made of these lands in the journal of the Society of Antiquaries An Extract is as follows "King Robert Bruce shortly before his death granted to the Monastrey and Hospital of Turriff the Land of Petts in the Parish of Fyvie for the maintenance of a Chaplain to pray for the Soul of his brother Nigel" For further particulars please see P [Page] 208 Pratt's Buchan
