[about] 2 feet square, and in each were deposited human bones and ashes, These relics were found in the Sub soil by Mr Fowlie whilst Trenching the Site of a stone Cairn for cultivation, Situated at a standing Stone which is the remains left of an old Cairn. Abt. [About] 24. yards west of a Pub, [Public] Road and abt. [about] 19. Ch [Chains] S.S.E. [South South East] of Back Hill as already stated with the headings Cairn (Remains of) proprietor The Earl of Aberdeen
