045 In 1865. a Stone Cist was found here whilst clearing away a part of the rock for the foundation of the new Steading It consisted of rough blocks of stones or flags. at the sides and ends. with a large stone covering the same; and in it was found ashes or burn't bones - lying on the rock but no Urn or bones etc.
