A conspicous and large hill, about five miles N. [North] of Ballater and about two miles E. [East] From Morven Shooting Lodge: It is covered with Rough pasture on the S. [South] side and heathy pasture on the Northern. property of the Marquis of Huntly. It is about 2862 feet above the level of the sea, having an elevation in itself about 600 feet.
