090 A very neatly built Church ornamented with a spire above its entrance, said to be about 120 feet high, seated to accommodate 400 hearers. As yet no manse has been built for the minister who is at present lodging with Mr Fife of Balnacroft. It is slated, and having been only lately erected, is in excellent repair.

090 A large and handsomely built dwelling house two storeys high, with numerous offices, workmen's dwellings, and distillery, slated, and in good repair. Part of the offices, and part of the distillery, is masonry the remainder is built of wood. It is said that Mr Begg paid a sum of money, to be allowed the priviledge of attaching 'Royal' to the name of his works.
