090 ; 099 A hill stream, about three miles in length, and rising in hills to the West of Tom Bad monnie [a'Mhonaidh] ; its general course is Easterly until it is joined by the Genechal Burn, when it runs North until it falls into the Dee near Abergeldie Castle, Near where the Den Burn joins the Geldie, is a small hillock, where some workmen whilst digging out gravel came upon an urn, supposed to have contained calcified human bones. The urn fell in pieces when taken out. The hillock is about a quarter of a mile to the South of Abergeldie Castle.
