The factor attention was specially called to the mode of writing used in the Valuation but he says that Mill of Wester Coull is correct; although there is no appearance of a Mill ever being here.

081 A Small nearly round uncultivated hill, on the Summit of which is a Druidical Stone Circle, consisting of five Standing Stones from 3 to 6 feet high. It is a natural feature In the antiquities of Tarland & Migvie Ph [Parish] in the New Stat. [Statistical] Account various objects described upon and in view of this hill but none of them can be pointed out except the Stone Circle on the summit of Tomnaverie, and a single Stone in Logie Coldstone.
