072 An ancient stone circle, consisting at present of a rough standing stone on its southern Arc, the height thereof being about 4½ feet by 2½ feet square, the remainder of this circle is sharply defined by a bank of earth and stones: Its local name "Old Kirk of Tough," is old and well established, originating from this part of Cluny having been thought to belong to Tough parish till the division of Corrennie Forest showed the mistake. There are several Tumuli on its west and unimproved side. Of course all actual Knowledge as to the origin of either objects is now lost.
