Revd [Reverend] Mr Ronald, Cabrach. Revd [Reverend] John Minto, Clatt. Mr Gordon, Farmer, Gordonstown |
043 | This road takes its name from its leading from Kildrummy Castle, the chief seat of the Earls of Mar and Garioch to the Garioch. It was at one time a main line of communication, but since the road by Auchindoir and Rhynie was properly constructed, it has in a great measure fallen into desuetude, though it may still be occasionally used as a shorter line by riders and foot passengers and so may in a certain sense be considered public.
