043 | When the former Tenant of Mosshead farm was trenching a piece of ground on Moss Head, about 30 years ago, a small sepulchral chamber was discovered about two feet from the surface. The side, ends and bottom, were built of ordinary sized whin-stones, and contained unctuous matter. The building was about fifteen inches broad, and a foot high & nearly 3 feet in length, and was lying North & South. |
