I James Allan Surveyor aforesaid, do hereby Certify That upon carefull
Examination of the foregoing several Rates & dutys, I find they Amount in Whole to
Two pounds Thirteen Shillings & four pence stg [Sterling], and that upon the first Current [1 Oct 1787] I
delivered to Mr John McGibbon Collector of said Borough, an Exact Duplicate of the
above Account duly examined & compared with the foregoing which contained my O[ath]
that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at their dwelling houses of the
dates annexed to their respective Names, that they were to be charged with the sums
hereby Certified to be due from them
