I James Allan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull Examination of the foregoing Several Rates and Duties, I find they amount In Whole to One pound Seventeen Shillings, Sterg, [Sterling] and that upon the 6th Current I delivered to Mr John McGibben, Collector of the said Duties for the Borough aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above account duly examined & Compared with the foregoing which Contained any Oath that Notices were left with the whole forgoing Inhabitants & that they were to be Charged with the Sums hereby certified to be due from them.
