carefull examination of the foregoing Rates and Duties I find they Amount
in whole to Thirty three pounds fifteen shillings Sterling And then upon the
sixteenth day of March current I delivered to Mr. Thomas McClelland principal
collector of said Duties for said Burgh in exact Duplicate of and duly
examined and compared of the foregoing Accot. [Account] which constitute my oath that
notifications were delivered or left on the date foresaid, and that the rates charged
on said Acct [Accounts] were just & true to the best of my skill and knowledge, and to the
best of my belief, no person liable to be charged was omitted.

I Charles Robb Assessor aforesaed do hereby Certefy that upon careful Examination of the foregoing Several Rates
and Duties I find they Amount in whole to the Sum of Twenty Two pounds Ten Shillings Sterling and that upon
the Twenty fourth day of December I delivered to James Carstaers Collector for the Burgh aforesaed an Exact
Duplicate of the above Account duly Examened and Compared with the foregoing which Contaened My Oath that
Notices were left with the Several Inhabetants or at their Dwelling houses of the dates Annexed to their respective
names that they were to be Charged with the Sums hereby certefied to be due from them.

I David Hutcheson Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon carefull Examination
of the foregoing Rates and duties find they amount in whole to the sum of One pound
five shillings sterling and that this day I delivered to John McAulay Collector of said
duties an exact duplicate of the same containing my Oath that notices were left that
the said Inhabitant or at his dwelling house, that he was to be charged with

I Robert Maughan Surveyor Aforesaid Do hereby Certify that upon Careful Examination
of the Foregoing Rates & Duties, I find they Amount in Whole To Six Hundred and Eighty
Eight Pounds Sterling & that upon the 13th day of February Seventeen Hundred & Ninety Years I
delivered to Mr George McQueen Collector of the said Duties for the City of Edin [Edinburgh] an exact Du-
-plicate of the Foregoing Accompt duly examined & Compared which Contained my Oath that

examination I find the foregoing duties amount to Twenty pounds Sterling And
that upon the -- day of -- I delivered to James Dick Coler.[Collector] of the said
duties for the Burgh of aforesaid an exact duplicate of this acct. [account] which
contained my Oath that the preceeding inhabitants were duly served
with requisitions of the dates aforesaid and that they are charged
conformably to their several returns to me or the best information
I could procure.

said Duties for said Burgh an exact Duplicate of, and duly examined and

I Anthony Macmillan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify That upon careful examination of
the foregoing several Rates and duties I find they amount in whole to the sum of Two Pounds
ten shillings Sterling and that upon the sixth day of March one thousand seven hundred
& ninety years I delivered to. Mr John, McKairley Collector of the said duties for the Burgh aforesd. [aforesaid]
an exact Duplicate of the foregoing which contained my oath that requisitions or notices were
left with the foregoing Persons or at their dwelling houses of the dates annexed to their respective
names that were to be charged with the duties respectively due by them - Anthony Macmillan |
